A Camp Boss is responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of employee accommodation facilities, their duties include overseeing daily camp activities, managing staff welfare, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the camp, addressing employee grievances, coordinating accommodation logistics, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


  • Conduct orientation for new employees, including medical procedures, biometric registration, and issuance of insurance cards and roles and regulation of camp
  • Allocate bed space for new arrivals and maintain an up-to-date bed allocation list.
  • New Arrivals & Departures: Oversee all processes related to employee arrivals and departures.
  • Track and manage idle employees daily. Share the list with the Timekeeper, Supervisor, and management and assist the employee in deployment plan.
  • Oversee morning and evening employee mobilization and deployment. Mobilization Supervision:
  • Counsel absentee employees and report to the Camp Boss and Supervisor. Employee Counseling:
  • Issue warning letters and fines for violations. Disciplinary Actions:
  • Record grievances, process annual leave requests, get approvals from the Supervisor and Manager, and share them with HR. Grievance & Leave Management:
  • Track and update records for all employee leave types, including annual, sick, and emergency leave.
  • Monitor the cleaning of the camp and prepare schedules for the cleaning team. Camp Cleanliness:
  • Ensure proper maintenance of camp facilities and equipment. Report and coordinate with the maintenance team for any repairs Maintenance Oversight.
  • Procure camp essential material like bunk bed, cleaning materials and ensure proper stock levels
  • Visit outside camps monthly and submit detailed reports to management. Camp Visits & Reporting:
  • Collaborate with Timekeeper and payroll to resolve discrepancies related to time and attendance Payroll Support:
  • Address employee grievances related to salary clearance, ATM PIN setup, doctor appointments, camp transfers, and other concerns Payroll Support
  • Coordinate with HR for passport release requests.
  • Work closely with Operations Supervisor, HR and Logistics to ensure smooth camp operations. Interdepartmental Coordination:
  • Petty Cash & Expenses: Manage petty cash and oversee camp-related expenses.
  • Carry out routine inspection in camp.
