Captain Waiter

We are looking for an experienced and service-driven Captain Waiter to join a renowned 5-star luxury hotel group in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment, demonstrating strong leadership, exceptional guest service, and the ability to lead a team of waitstaff effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the waitstaff to deliver outstanding food and beverage service in line with luxury hotel standards.
• Oversee daily floor operations to ensure guests receive prompt, attentive, and professional service.
• Train, guide, and motivate team members to maintain high service standards and operational excellence.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction and repeat patronage.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards are consistently maintained across dining and service areas.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to guarantee seamless and timely service delivery.
• Manage table settings, reservations, and special dining requests.
• Monitor stock levels of service equipment and report shortages or requirements as needed.
• Comply with all health, safety, and operational policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Captain Waiter or Senior Waiter in a 5-star hotel.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of fine dining standards, menu details, and up-selling techniques.
• Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a luxury service environment.
• Ability to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR2,000.00 per month

• Doha: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
