About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and professional Captain Waiter to join our fine dining team. As a leader in the service staff, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests through outstanding service, attention to detail, and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the waitstaff, ensuring high standards of service and professionalism.
- Provide personalized attention to guests, making menu recommendations based on preferences.
- Oversee table settings, presentation, and timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Manage guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, maintaining health and hygiene standards.
- Train and mentor new waitstaff, promoting a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar teams for accurate order handling and smooth service.
- Promote upselling opportunities, enhancing the overall guest experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Leadership ability to guide and motivate a team effectively.
- Professional demeanor with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-end restaurants or luxury hotel dining settings.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and order management.
