Job Summary
We are looking for a confident and friendly Captain Waitress to lead our restaurant service team. The role includes supervising daily operations, guiding staff, and ensuring guests have a great dining experience. The right candidate will be a strong leader with good communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests politely and make them feel comfortable.
- Supervise and assist the waitstaff to ensure smooth and quality service.
- Take and communicate guest orders clearly to the kitchen and bar.
- Check food and beverage presentation to maintain restaurant standards.
- Handle guest requests and complaints in a professional and caring way.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and take quick action when needed.
- Keep the restaurant clean and organized at all times.
- Train and guide new staff to improve teamwork and service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and management for smooth operations.
- Handle bills, process payments, and ensure cash accuracy.
- Complete end-of-shift reports, stock counts, and cash reconciliation.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and company rules and standards.
- Join team meetings and training sessions regularly.
Qualifications
- Experience as a supervisor or captain in a restaurant or F&B operation.
- Good knowledge of food, beverages, and service standards.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work under pressure and handle busy shifts.
- Friendly personality with excellent customer service skills.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and different shifts as needed.
