Job Summary/Purpose

Supervise lubricant and oil sales activities to meet Commercial and Fleet Customers sales volume requirements and franchise product positioning.

Job Responsibilities

Operational:
  • Study and evaluate Lube Commercial market potential, competitor’s SWOT, prepare and propose the strategy to the Management for effective brand positioning and generating volume sales while upholding the Brand image.
  • Visit the assigned Industrial/Marine/Commercial/Ministry/Fleet customers to support sales activities.
  • Update Senior Manager, Motor Oil and Paint in writing on competitor’s activities on pricing, market intelligence for existing and new products.
  • Assist Senior Manager, Motor Oil and Paint in preparing Quarterly Sales Promotion schemes based on achieved monthly sales targets.
  • Prepare and propose monthly item-wise orders and monitor inventory according to the market requirements.
  • Organize Product Performance trials on regular basis with an objective to position specific products in Commercial, Fleet and Industrial segment.
  • Plan and provide On the Job and theoretical training to assigned field staff of Oil division and develop them as Techno-commercial competent team.
  • Submit and follow up on quotations, monitor payment collections, prepare production orders to ensure adequate availability to meet garage and market requirements.
  • Develop industrial lubricant and Oil business with special focus on specialties.
  • Provide assistance to Senior Manager, Motor Oil and Paint with planning business expansion.
  • Initiate action plans to protect and improve image of products of MNSS and franchises (Cofran and Abaar Oil).
  • Submit various Activity Reports to Senior Manager, Motor Oil and Paint on daily/weekly/fortnightly basis on general market situation, problems faced and solutions provided and other relevant information.
  • Interact with other Tire and Paint divisions of the Group for promoting growth of Oil division.

People Management:
  • Assign duties and examine work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance to policies and procedures.
  • Check employee attendance and report absence and attendance exceptions, prepare annual leave plan for employees and overtime sheets on SAP HCM for management approval.
  • Explain and advise staff on Group policy and quality standards and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Provide on the job training and coaching to staff and provide information and necessary material to staff to carry out the jobs.
Receive grievances raised by subordinates and promptly escalate such grievances to management.
  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations.
  • Document and maintain records of activities and process workflows on internal communication portals.
  • Adhere to Al-Sayer Group policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
