Direct Support Professional / Personal Assistant

$26/hr awake | $21/hr overnight – Paid through Seven Counties

Looking for a job where you get paid to stay active, go out in the community, and help someone live independently?

I’m seeking dependable and compassionate individuals to join my support team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Personal Assistant.

This is not your typical sit-around-the-house caregiving job. I enjoy staying active, getting out in the community, exploring new places, and occasionally traveling — so this position is perfect for someone who prefers being out and about rather than sitting still all day.

Pay

• $26/hour while I am awake

• $21/hour overnight while I am asleep

• Payroll is managed through Seven Counties

About Me

I am an adult living with cerebral palsy and legal blindness, but I value my independence and live a very active lifestyle. I enjoy getting out into the community, trying new places, and traveling when possible. If you enjoy traveling too, that’s a plus — I cover my DSP’s travel expenses when we go on trips.

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)

• Assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, and grooming

• Helping with meal preparation and light household tasks

• Keeping living areas tidy

• Supporting daily routines and community outings

• Driving my accessible van (no personal vehicle required)

• Providing companionship and conversation

What I’m Looking For

• No healthcare experience or certifications required — training is provided

• Reliable, patient, and willing to learn

• Comfortable assisting with personal care

• Able to safely assist with wheelchair transfers

• Valid driver’s license required

Schedule

Monday: 9:00am–9:00pm

Tuesday: 2:00pm-10:00pm

Wednesday: 9:00am–9:00pm

Thursday: 4:00pm-10:00pm

Friday: 9:00am–1:00pm

Saturday: 3:00pm–12:00am

Sunday: Open availability
