Job Purpose:
To generate, develop, and maintain cargo sales for air, sea, and land freight services by identifying business opportunities, building client relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets. The Cargo Sales Executive ensures customer satisfaction and contributes to the company’s revenue growth and market share expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development

Identify and develop new business opportunities in air, sea, and land cargo sectors.

Build strong relationships with freight forwarders, shippers, and corporate clients.

Conduct regular client visits to present services, negotiate rates, and close deals.

Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and volume targets.

Prepare and submit commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders.

Promote new services, routes, and special cargo products to clients.
Account Management

Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.

Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve service issues in coordination with the operations team.

Track and analyze client performance and recommend improvement actions.
Market Analysis & Reporting

Monitor market trends, competitors’ activities, and pricing structures.

Provide periodic sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.

Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional activities and campaigns.
Internal Coordination

Coordinate with Operations, Documentation, and Finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

Ensure timely follow-up on payments and credit control in line with company policy.

Share customer feedback with relevant departments to enhance service quality.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.

Minimum
2–4 years
of experience in cargo, freight forwarding, or logistics sales.

Strong knowledge of
air/sea/land cargo operations
, rates, and documentation.

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Strong presentation and client relationship management skills.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Valid driving license and willingness to travel locally.

Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
