Carpenter

• Perform carpentry repairs and installations, including doors, windows, frames, cabinetry, shelving, flooring, drywall, and ceilings.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install woodwork and fittings as needed for hotel rooms, common areas, and facilities.
• Repair and restore furniture and fixtures to maintain hotel standards.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff, including electricians, plumbers, and painters.
• Maintain an inventory of carpentry tools, materials, and supplies.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Assist in emergency repairs and respond to maintenance requests promptly.
• Inspect hotel premises and report potential carpentry-related hazards or issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a carpenter, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, equipment, materials, and construction methods.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and perform labor-intensive tasks.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in carpentry is a plus.
