Carpenter

PURPOSE: Copper Trout Properties is seeking a skilled and reliable carpenter to provide quality construction services. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and residential construction techniques, be dependable, and have a team first mentality. Responsibilities include performing finish and rough carpentry, tiling, drywall, installing cabinetry, doors, windows, etc. The successful candidate must be a self-starter, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Assemble and fabricate according to project specifications
• Perform rough carpentry tasks and concrete forming
• Perform finish carpentry tasks, including installing moldings, casings, cabinetry, doors, windows
• Hang drywall, fixture installation, tiling, if needed
• Install roofing, siding, if needed
• Aid other tradesmen, if an extra hand is needed, as we are a team
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete carpentry tasks with precision
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and dimensions
• Execute caulking and sealing tasks to ensure clean finishes and prevent moisture intrusion
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of carpentry work with other construction activities
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in carpentry
• Knowledge of caulking techniques and materials used in finish carpentry
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site effectively

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
