Foreman Joinery

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Finishing Carpenter Foreman to supervise and coordinate finishing carpentry works on site. The candidate should have strong knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, doors, skirting, wardrobes, and decorative wood works. The role requires excellent leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily furniture production and finishing work.
Operate, maintain, and manage machinery including:

• Table saws, band saws, mitre saws, and CNC routers
• Sanders (belt, orbital, drum) and polishers
• Drills, nail guns, and assembly tools
• Spray guns and coating equipment

Ensure all furniture items (cabinets, doors, panels, bespoke furniture) meet design, quality, and safety standards.
Maintain workshop safety, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep.
Coordinate with engineers, designers, and clients for smooth project execution.
Train and guide carpentry and finishing team members.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Furniture Foreman or Senior Carpenter in a production workshop.
Strong hands-on knowledge of furniture machinery and finishing processes.
Ability to read technical drawings and implement precise specifications.
Leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of workshop safety and quality standards.
