Cash Application Analyst

ACERTUS is an automotive logistics company that offers portfolio of services that span across the vehicle lifecycle. The Cash Application Analyst will be responsible for retrieval of remittance advice and application of cash while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures as well as continuing to optimize processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: $21/hour

What will you be doing?

• Ensure all cash receipts are applied promptly and accurately for multiple subsidiaries with emphasis on Amerifleet Transportation.
• Maintain policies and procedures for cash application processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct regular audits of cash applications to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to resolve payment discrepancies and improve cash application processes.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• This position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and/or experience required.
• Experience (1-2 years) in cash application or accounts receivable management,
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices related to cash application.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and other standard tools such as Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products – specifically Excel and Outlook
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
