Cash Application Analyst

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about financial accuracy? We are seeking a Cash Application Analyst who will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of incoming payments. In this position, you'll collaborate across teams to drive efficiency in our cash application process and contribute directly to the health of our financial operations.

Our Team

The OTC finance team at Koch Inc. oversees the complete Order-to-Cash process by managing customer orders, invoicing, and timely payment collection. They work to optimize cash flow and reduce credit risk through detailed accounts receivable analysis. Additionally, the team collaborates closely with sales and operations to resolve billing issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

• Ensure accurate and timely application of daily cash receipts, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card payments
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Credit, and Customer Service to resolve payment discrepancies
• Reconcile unapplied payments and work proactively to maintain clean customer accounts
• Support month-end close by ensuring all cash receipts are accurately posted within deadlines
• Provide documentation and insights to support audits and internal reviews
• Identify and contribute to improvements in the cash application process for increased accuracy and efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in cash application or accounts receivable
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Experience working in a shared services or corporate finance environment
• Exposure to Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes and best practices
• Proven ability to drive process improvements in cash application
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments
