Cash Handling & Transactions

  • Receive and process cash, cheque, and online payments from customers, vendors, or employees.
  • Issue receipts and ensure accurate posting of transactions in the accounting or POS system.
  • Manage daily petty cash disbursements and maintain proper documentation.

Record Keeping & Reconciliation

  • Maintain daily cashbook and ensure entries are updated and accurate.
  • Reconcile physical cash with system records at the end of each day.
  • Prepare daily cash position reports and share with the accounts department.

Deposits & Payments

  • Deposit collected cash/cheques into the company’s bank account daily.
  • Handle employee advances, reimbursements, and vendor payments as per company procedures.
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of all cash transactions.

Reporting & Coordination

  • Provide cash-related data and reports to the Accounts or Finance team.
  • Coordinate with departments for payment verification and approvals.
  • Support audits by providing required cash records and documentations.

Qualifications: Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or relevant field.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a cashier or in cash handling roles.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and MS Excel.

Experience with accounting or POS software is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
