Cashier

We are looking for a reliable and customer-friendly Cashier to manage all checkout operations in our retail grocery store. The role involves handling cash, card, and digital transactions, ensuring accurate billing, maintaining a clean checkout counter, and providing excellent customer service to create a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet customers warmly and offer assistance as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries about products, prices, and store policies.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and efficient manner.

Transaction Processing:

• Operate the cash register, scan items, and process transactions accurately.
• Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and gift cards.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as required.

Sales and Promotions:

• Inform customers about current sales, promotions, and store events.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer experience.

Store Maintenance:

• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining store appearance.

Security and Compliance:

Follow all company policies and procedures related to cash handling and store security.

Report any suspicious activities or security breaches to the management.

Team Collaboration:

• Work cooperatively with other team members to achieve store goals.
• Assist with training new cashiers as needed.

Other Duties:

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications:

Education: I.Com/B.Com

Experience: 2-Year of Experience Required.

Skills:

• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
