We are looking for a Category Management Manager (Non-Glass) to take part in Şişecam Headquarters – Retail Category Group Management Team in Tuzla / Istanbul. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree from Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar faculties
  • Minimum 10+ years of sales/category experience in preferably in homeware goods with a successful track record in team management and leadership
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities
  • Ability to understand, adapt and implement new sales technologies
  • High learning agility to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Results-driven with a strong motivation to achieve targets
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, preferably knowledge of ERP, CRM or similar tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • No restrictions for domestic and international travels.
  • Trade fair experience is essential; experience in houseware is a plus.



JOB DESCRIPTION


  • Sets the overall Retail Product vision, strategy, targets and budget based on the Corporate and Commercial strategy and aligns it with the Head of Retail
  • Acts as an expert on the product group/category, go to market, combines all market insights including the competitor, market trend and portfolio information to develop and optimize the product group/category growth & innovation strategy.
  • Trade fair experience is essential; experience in houseware is a plus.
  • Leads and directs pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions supporting the perception and positioning of product categories to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters.
  • Leads the team for identifying customer segments and defining offering and customer value proposition of the product for each segment.
  • Proactively seeks out developments in the market to realize new product opportunities.
  • Develop products with suppliers in alignment with current trends, ensuring close collaboration to stay updated with market trends.
  • Owns the product portfolio and is responsible for the profitability and customer satisfaction of the products.
  • Takes full responsibility for revealing product-based synergies across stores /alternative channels and contributes to the commercial campaigns, incentive and premium mechanisms according to the sub-product group strategies.
