Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead product lifecycle management for their brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product selection, vendor management, and strategic pricing to drive category growth within the fashion and lifestyle accessories segment. This role requires strong analytical skills, market awareness, and the ability to optimize product performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Selection: Identify and select high-potential products through market research, trend analysis, and competitor insights.
• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure product quality and availability.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete product lifecycle from procurement to sales performance monitoring.
• Strategic Pricing: Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and collaborate with logistics and operations teams to maintain an efficient supply chain.
• Performance Analysis: Track category performance metrics and implement strategies to improve sales and profitability.

Tools & Skills

• Proficiency in product and project management tools.
• Strong experience with data analysis and reporting tools to monitor performance and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field.

Experience

• 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in category management, merchandising, or product management.
• Experience in watches, fashion accessories, or lifestyle brands is highly preferred.

Pay: Up to Rs300,000.00 per month
