Catering Transport and Fleet Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Catering Transport & Fleet Coordinator to manage vehicle operations, delivery logistics, and fleet readiness for our catering services. This role ensures timely transportation of food, equipment, and staff while maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily transportation schedules for catering deliveries and event setups
  • Manage fleet availability, vehicle assignments, and route planning
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, inspections, and compliance records
  • Liaise with drivers, kitchen teams, and operations to ensure on-time service
  • Track fuel usage, mileage, and operational costs
  • Respond to real-time logistics issues and adjust plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate fleet documentation, permits, and insurance records
  • Support equipment transport planning and inventory coordination

Requirements

  • Experience in fleet coordination, logistics, or transportation operations (hospitality experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance tracking and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with scheduling or fleet management software
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred or required depending on role)
