The Goods Receiving Officer is responsible for receiving and managing all the incoming goods to the centralized goods receiving office. This includes sorting, storing, and delivering the goods to different UNITS, LOCATIONS & FACILITES (respective shelves). Making sure the goods received are in good condition, quality checked, maintaining accurate records, compliance with purchase order, acts as the key control point between suppliers, procurement and end user department, hygiene etc.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, procurement or related field.
- Manual driving license is a must.
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in goods receiving, warehouse operation and procurement support
KEY SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
- Receive, inspect and verify all incoming goods against purchase order, delivery notes, Invoice and specification.
- Check product quality and condition (unwrapping it properly), ensuring items meets required standards and reporting any damages, shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor/ Procurement.
- Record all deliveries accurately in the inventory ERP system, compiling all the delivery notes, invoices and attaches to the PO and arrange the file for submission to finance dept. for payment processing.
- Coordinate with supplier to resolve any short falls in delivery, back orders, partial deliveries, quality issues and informs Supervisor/Procurement for escalation.
- Ensuring proper tagging and labelling before goods can be delivered to the respective Units, Facility, Location and proper hand over of the goods to the GRU / Requestor.
- Maintains receiving area, ensuring cleanliness, safety and compliance with handling procedures.
- Coordination with GRU & requestors to facilitates timely transfer & distribution of received goods.
- Strong & accurate communication with suppliers, procurement, goods receiving units and requestors.
- Ability to identify and resolves issues, resolving discrepancy, damaged goods or missing items.
- Documentation & reporting-able to provide complete receiving report, discrepancy notes, manages back-order hooks, incoming delivery records etc.
- Computer skills, proficiency in using inventory management software, Microsoft, emails and excel, and other relevant computer systems.
