CCGT Technology Senior Expert

The Role
Technology Senior Expert – Qatar Linum Consult’s client is currently in the process of expanding and is seeking a Technology Senior Expert who specialises in CCGT assets management, to be based in their office in Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES • Managing and optimising CCGT assets, implementing advanced technologies and strategies to enhance operational efficiency, ensure regulatory compliance, and maximise profitability • Developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance the efficiency and output of CCGT installations, utilising cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices • Supervising and coordinating regular maintenance schedules for all CCGT assets, ensuring they adhere to industry standards and practices to prevent breakdowns and extend asset lifespan • Ensuring all operations of CCGT assets comply with relevant local and international environmental and energy regulations • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry partners • Tracking and evaluating the performance of renewable assets using KPIs, preparing detailed reports on their operational status and financial health

Requirements
PROFILE • Degree qualification in Finance, Engineering, Business, or similar. Ideally have an additional MBA qualification • At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role, with the last 4 years in a leadership/management role • Good understanding of the power/energy and water sectors, with a focus in CCGT technologies • Fluent in spoken and written English, with any Arabic language skills an advantage • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with key stakeholders, senior executives, management teams, and external partners • Previous experience of working in Qatar and/or other Gulf countries
