We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Cement Terminal Manager to oversee and continuously improve the operations of our cement terminal. With a focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, this role ensures that cement handling, storage, and distribution meet the highest industry standards. As Terminal Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining smooth logistics, equipment reliability, and strong team performance, all while aligning with SRM’s mission and values.
You will lead terminal operations that support our diverse client base across commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects, coordinating closely with operations, logistics, sales, and technical services teams to deliver excellence in every load.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all day-to-day operations at the cement terminal, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Lead, train, and develop terminal staff to promote a safe, efficient, and customer-focused work environment.
- Monitor product levels, maintain accurate inventory records, and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Schedule and manage preventive maintenance for terminal equipment, including silos, conveyors, pumps, and loading systems.
- Collaborate with dispatch, production, and sales teams to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of products.
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, implementing process improvements to enhance performance.
- Manage budgets, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on terminal productivity and costs.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are upheld and the terminal reflects SRM’s commitment to cleanliness and professionalism.
- Promote SRM’s 5 Principles of Service: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, and Go-Getter attitude.
Qualifications:- Able to meet schedule requirements; flexibility to accommodate extended or irregular hours based on operational needs.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in terminal, plant, or bulk material handling operations (cement, aggregates, or related industry preferred).
- Proven experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of bulk material storage, loading systems, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory or terminal management software.
