JOH Partners is currently working on an exciting CEO role for a Subsidiary of a Leading Saudi Conglomerate in Dammam.
About the role: Lead one of Saudi Arabia's largest scaffolding manufacturers, a strategic subsidiary of a major Saudi conglomerate. This role is focused on driving capacity optimization, overseeing delivery and commissioning of a new automated manufacturing facility planned for 2026, and strengthening commercial performance and client diversification - with continued emphasis on serving oil & gas customers and maintaining ARAMCO-aligned compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end business performance: set and deliver strategy, P&L, annual plans and budgets.
- Drive operations excellence: optimize capacity, improve throughput, reduce unit cost and raise quality and safety standards.
- Lead delivery of the new automated facility: manage construction, commissioning, automation integration, start-up and ramp to full production by 2026.
- Commercial leadership: grow revenue, diversify client base, strengthen margins, and secure long-term contracts with major oil & gas clients.
- Client & compliance management: maintain and expand relationships with ARAMCO and other major EPCs/operating companies; ensure all operations meet ARAMCO-related standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Build the leadership team and operating systems: recruit, mentor and retain senior leaders; implement robust KPIs, governance, performance management and scalable systems.
- Capital planning & stakeholder management: lead CAPEX planning, project governance and regular reporting to the parent conglomerate and board.
Looking For:
- Proven CEO, Managing Director or General Manager experience in industrial manufacturing - ideally scaffolding, steel fabrication, modular construction or adjacent heavy industrial sectors.
- Hands-on track record in automation projects: design-to-commissioning experience delivering automated lines or facilities and successfully ramping to production.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen: P&L ownership, cost control, margin improvement and contract negotiation experience.
- Operational leadership and continuous improvement background: demonstrated success improving capacity, yield and safety in industrial environments.
- Experience managing major oil & gas clients and meeting ARAMCO-related compliance or equivalent standards is highly desirable.
- Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or related discipline preferred.
- Arabic language skills and Saudi national status are a plus.
