Chartered Accountant (Fast Food Restaurant Chain)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our fast food restaurant chain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial discipline, cost control, and regulatory compliance, while providing valuable insights to support business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll systems.
• Monitor daily sales reports from all outlets and reconcile with POS systems.
• Cost & Inventory Control
• Track food cost percentages and control wastage.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual usage vs. theoretical cost.
• Monitor supplier billing, vendor payments, and inventory audits.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Develop financial forecasts and budgets for restaurant operations.
• Analyze sales trends and recommend pricing or promotional strategies.
• Provide management with cost-saving and profit-enhancing recommendations.
• Compliance & Audit
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, sales tax, and labor laws.
• Prepare for external and internal audits.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all financial activities.
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management
• Supervise cash handling at outlets and daily bank deposits.
• Manage working capital to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee financial planning for expansion projects.
• Team Collaboration
• Work closely with restaurant managers, operations, and supply chain teams.
• Train outlet managers in financial discipline and reporting standards.
• Support top management in strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA – ICAP) qualification is mandatory.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience (preferably in food & beverage, hospitality, or retail industry).
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and ERP/accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Pay: From Rs100,000.00 per month
