Chemical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee chemical process design, coordination, and execution across projects.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth integration of chemical systems and processes.
• Review and approve chemical engineering drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety codes, and project requirements.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of chemical process equipment.
• Lead the chemical engineering team and coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams for seamless delivery.
• Report to Project Manager/Director and provide regular progress updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Proven track record as a Chemical Engineer on major industrial, oil & gas, or process plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of chemical process design, equipment selection, safety standards, and quality control.
• Familiar with local environmental regulations and international engineering standards.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Kuwait Driving License preferred.
• Transferable residency (Article 18) is preferable.
