The Chemical Engineer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supervising chemical processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective production. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving ability, and experience in process improvement, quality assurance, and compliance with safety/environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize chemical processes for production efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor daily plant operations, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical solutions.
- Conduct research and testing to improve existing products and develop new ones.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all operations.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to streamline workflows.
- Analyze process data, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
- Supervise and train junior staff or technicians within the department.
- Support in audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections.
- Manage raw material usage to minimize waste and reduce costs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in chemical process engineering,
- Strong knowledge of chemical process design, safety standards, and industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, process simulation, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
