Chief Accountant

We are looking for a highly skilled Chief Accountant to join our team and lead the finance department with accuracy, integrity, and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
• Implement and improve internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/Professional certification such as CPA/ACCA/CA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks, SAP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
