Job Description: COMO Lounge is a bustling and popular café known for its excellence and high-quality offerings. As we expand our footprint with multiple branches, we are looking for a meticulous and experienced Chief Accountant. This is a leadership role designed for a professional who can manage the technical integrity of our financial operations, supervise junior staff, and provide strategic cost-control insights to ensure the group’s profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Leadership: Oversee all financial operations, including the supervision and auditing of the Senior & Junior Accountant’s daily data entry.
• Central Kitchen Cost Control: Monitor and analyze Food Cost (COGS) and inventory variances specifically for the Central Production Kitchen and retail outlets.
• Supplier Collaboration & Negotiation: Professionally collaborate and negotiate with company suppliers to secure the best pricing, credit terms, and service agreements for the group.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide deep-dive analysis on branch-level performance and waste management.
• Tax & Compliance: Lead the preparation and filing of all VAT documents in full compliance with FTA regulations. Serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage group budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement strict cost-control measures to protect margins.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls and SOPs to safeguard company assets and ensure "audit-ready" books at all times.
• Strategic Advice: Provide financial forecasts and data-driven insights to the Head of Operations to support business growth and new branch openings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred).
• 4–6 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant, specifically within the Hospitality/F&B industry (Central Kitchen experience is a major plus).
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and IFRS standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Xero) and Advanced Excel skills.
• Proven ability to negotiate with vendors and manage supplier accounts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
