Chief Accountant – Real Estate

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to join our Real Estate company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing accurate reports, and supporting management in strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the accounting team and daily financial operations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
• Review and approve journal entries, payroll, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Oversee property revenue, expenses, and cost allocations related to real estate operations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
• Minimum [5-7] years of proven experience in accounting, with at least [3] years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of real estate accounting, leasing, and property management transactions.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP).
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
