Chief Compliance Officer

Role Summary

The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the organisation’s full compliance with the regulatory framework governing entities operating under the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA). The role provides independent oversight of compliance risk, regulatory governance, and financial crime controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with IFSCA regulations, FEMA, PMLA/AML/KYC, and other applicable laws.
• Act as primary liaison with regulators; manage inspections, audits, and regulatory filings.
• Design and oversee the compliance framework, including policies, controls, and monitoring.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and address control gaps.
• Oversee AML, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting (including STR filings, where applicable).
• Advise senior management and the Board on regulatory developments and compliance risks.
• Present periodic compliance reports to the Board/Audit Committee.

Profile Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in compliance/regulatory roles within financial services.
• Strong understanding of IFSC/IFSCA regulatory framework.
• Experience handling regulatory audits and financial crime compliance.
• High integrity, strong analytical skills, and sound regulatory judgment.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
