Legal and Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Support & Risk Management:

 Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

 Identify potential legal risks and provide strategic solutions to mitigate them.

 Manage legal disputes and coordinate with external legal counsel.

 Support the handling of litigation matters and represent the company in legal

proceedings when required.

 Manage the registration, renewal, and protection of intellectual property including

trademarks, patents, and copyrights.

Compliance & Regulation

 Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and national laws and industry

regulations.

 Monitor legal and regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes to internal

stakeholders.

 Prepare and manage statutory filings and reports to relevant authorities.

Liaisoning & Government Relations:

 Act as the point of contact between the company and government authorities.

 Handle regulatory filings, licensing, and approvals required for business operations.

 Build and maintain relationships with government officials and regulatory bodies.

 Address and resolve any legal or compliance-related matters with government agencies.

 Ensure all government compliances and licenses are in place and all renewals and filings

required are done in a timely manner.

 Maintain a list of all government related compliances and requirements along with

dates and timelines for renewals and filings.

Documentation & Reporting:

 Prepare, maintain, and update legal, compliance, and regulatory documentation.

 Draft official letters, applications, and reports for submission to government

departments.

 Ensure accurate record-keeping of all legal, compliance, and liaison activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
