About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a highly respected, growth-oriented law firm seeking a
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
to lead enterprise technology strategy and execution.
This is a
true executive leadership role
with direct impact on firm-wide performance, innovation, and long-term digital transformation strategy.
What You’ll Do

Define and execute the firm’s
long-term technology vision
, aligning IT with business goals

Partner with executive leadership to
modernize systems and drive operational efficiency

Lead enterprise initiatives across:

Cloud infrastructure
-
Cybersecurity & risk management
-
AI and emerging technologies
-
Practice management systems
-
Oversee
IT governance, policies, and compliance frameworks
-
Drive
business continuity & disaster recovery strategy
-
Manage and optimize a
multi-million-dollar IT budget
-
Build, mentor, and scale a
high-performing IT organization
-
Present strategy, KPIs, and progress updates to executive leadership
-
Own vendor strategy, contract negotiations, and service delivery outcomes
-
Identify opportunities to
leverage AI and legal/professional services technology
for competitive advantage
What We’re Looking For
-
10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience
, including senior-level roles
-
Coming from a
law firm, professional services, or a reputable consulting firm
-
Proven success
building and executing enterprise technology strategies
Expertise across:
-
Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
-
Cybersecurity and data privacy frameworks
-
IT governance and infrastructure operations
-
Experience leading
digital transformation initiatives
in complex organizations
-
Strong knowledge of enterprise tools (Microsoft 365, Azure AD, SQL, etc.)
-
Experience managing
large IT budgets and vendor ecosystems
-
Exceptional executive communication skills — able to translate technical concepts into business impact
Compensation & Benefits (

Base Salary:
$275,000 – $325,000 (commensurate with experience)
