We’re now seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who can strengthen our operations, drive alignment across departments, and ensure that our teams deliver excellence at every level.Role OverviewThe COO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, working directly with the CEO to execute WADIC’s strategic vision. This role requires a seasoned professional with prior executive-level experience who can manage complex, multi-department operations across engineering, project management, sales, and administration. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, process-driven, and an exceptional communicator fluent in both English and Urdu.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations across Engineering, PMO, QA, HR, and Administrative teams.
- Convert strategic goals into actionable operational plans with clear, measurable results.
- Establish and monitor departmental KPIs to promote accountability, performance, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive leadership to influence company strategy, culture, and organizational development.
- Optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency across teams in Pakistan and the USA.
- Lead performance management for department heads and support leadership development efforts.
- Ensure transparent, consistent communication among teams, clients, and executive stakeholders.
- Maintain financial discipline through effective budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Champion and reinforce WADIC’s core values of transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of leadership experience, including a minimum of 3 years in an executive role (COO, Director, VP, or similar).
- Proven success managing cross-functional operations, preferably in software development or technology services.
- Strong business acumen with experience in scaling organizations, optimizing processes, and overseeing financial operations.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Urdu, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders in the U.S. and Pakistan.
- Demonstrated ability to lead decisively, motivate teams, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- MBA or an advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
