Chief Resident Engineer

Qualification:

B.Sc. Civil Engneering preferably M.Sc. Highways Engineering/ Transportation Engineering

Experience:

Minimum Experience required is 20 Years and Fifteen (15) years' international experience as Resident Engineer on construction supervision of major road Projects.

He should have at least 5 years' experience of Rehabilitation Road Projects

Responsibilities:

The CRE will lead the Consultant’s team, assuming overall responsibility for project management and maintaining effective coordination with NHA.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting NHA in the implementation of the project.
• Taking full responsibility for the performance of the consulting team and delivery of services under the consultancy contract.
• Ensuring thorough review of designs and specifications prepared by the design consultant.
• Overseeing comprehensive construction supervision and contract administration for civil works.
• Monitoring and ensuring strict compliance with construction drawings and technical specifications during execution.
• Supervising construction activities to ensure adherence to approved designs and specifications.
• Ensuring preparation of detailed, quantitative progress reports to substantiate the contractor’s interim payment claims.
• Keeping the Employer informed of project progress and technical matters through both formal and informal communication, and providing support on project-related issues as required.
• Ensuring implementation of environmental and other relevant regulatory requirements.

Pay: Rs400,000.00 - Rs500,000.00 per month
