Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Steward to lead our stewarding department at our prestigious 4-star hotel in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in all kitchen and back-of-house areas while ensuring smooth coordination with the culinary and F&B teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the stewarding team on a daily basis
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas are cleaned and maintained according to hotel and Dubai Municipality hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchens, dishwashing areas, and back-of-house storage areas
- Implement and monitor HACCP and food safety procedures
- Coordinate with Executive Chef and F&B team for operational requirements
- Control breakage, cleaning supplies, and chemical usage to minimize costs
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchens and stewarding areas
- Train, schedule, and evaluate stewarding staff performance
- Ensure proper waste management and recycling procedures
- Maintain inventory of equipment and stewarding supplies
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Chief Steward or Assistant Chief Steward in a 4-star or 5-star hotel in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of HACCP and Dubai Municipality food safety regulations
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English
- Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospitality management certification
- Experience in multi-outlet hotel operations
- Knowledge of cost control and inventory systems

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
