Role Overview

The CSO will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability initiatives, overseeing compliance, and driving innovation in environmental stewardship. This role requires strong leadership, expertise in sustainability, and the ability to integrate eco-conscious practices into business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s sustainability strategy.
• Oversee environmental compliance, carbon reduction programs, and green initiatives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align sustainability goals with organizational objectives.
• Lead innovation in renewable energy, waste reduction, and sustainable supply chains.
• Ensure compliance with Qatari environmental regulations and international sustainability standards.
• Manage budgets, partnerships, and resource allocation for sustainability projects.
• Mentor and develop teams to foster a culture of environmental responsibility.
• Identify opportunities for new eco-friendly products, services, and market expansion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in sustainability leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
• Strong knowledge of Qatari environmental regulations and international sustainability frameworks (ISO 14001, ESG, UN SDGs).
• Proven track record of implementing successful sustainability programs.
• Expertise in renewable energy, green technologies, and sustainable business practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Pay: Up to QAR56,000.00 per month
