Child Care Assistant Site Supervisor - Maple Grove

Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30am-9:30am AND 1:00pm-6:00pm. Year round position.

Position Criteria:

• High school education or equivalent, required
• Two to four year degree, preferred
• 2 years experience in child care industry, preferred

Performance Criteria:

• Staffing: Assigning staff to age groups for the afternoons, Assigning weekly jobs, Training on curriculum and every day duties
• Children: Keeping them safe, supervising, friendly interactions, planning fun learning activities, providing guidance, being a role model
• Office Work: Emailing other supervisors, parents, and teachers, filling accident/behavior reports, keeping child information up to date, planning curriculums, filling out DHS requirements
• Environment: Tornado and fire drills, watching weather and planning appropriately, cleaning toys, planning fun and safe experiences, maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Planning: Curriculum, no school days, gym games, crafts, drills, cooking, STEM, strategies for children’s behavior
