Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including play-based learning and educational exercises.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times by following established health and safety protocols.
  • Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices.
  • Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage cooperation and emotional regulation.
  • Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily experiences.
  • Assist in classroom management by organizing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when needed.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar environments.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly preferred to ensure immediate response to emergencies.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education is a plus.
  • Strong classroom management skills combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and support their individual needs.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
