We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven China Sales Expert to lead our freight forwarding sales initiatives focused on China trade lanes. The role requires strong connections with Chinese exporters and local importers, along with expertise in ocean freight and end-to-end logistics solutions in Karachi.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with Chinese exporters, suppliers, and sourcing agents
- Develop a strong pipeline of Pakistan-based importers and traders
- Generate consistent cargo volumes (FCL & LCL consolidation)
- Coordinate with China agents for bookings, consolidation, and shipment planning
- Negotiate competitive freight rates with shipping lines, co-loaders, and NVOCCs
- Provide tailored logistics solutions (port-to-port, door-to-door, DDP/DDU)
- Work closely with operations and customs clearance teams for smooth execution
- Track freight market trends and pricing dynamics (China → Pakistan)
- Lead, mentor, and manage the junior sales team members.
- Drive business development for China-origin shipments into Pakistan
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 4–5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales, with strong China exposure
- Existing network with Pakistan-based importers, traders, and buying houses
- China-based suppliers, exporters, or freight agents
Strong knowledge of:
- Ocean freight (FCL/LCL consolidation)
- Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP)
- Pakistan imports regulations and documentation
- Proven track record of achieving sales and volume targets
- Strong negotiation, communication, and closing skills
