CIO / IT Director Middle-East - Global Retail company

KatchMe is hiring for one of their clients, a global leader in Retail, recognized for offering an unmatched range of prestige products.

With a strong international presence spanning Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas, they operate in highly dynamic markets where innovation and customer experience are at the heart of their strategy.

As part of the regional leadership team and reporting directly to the CFO, you will shape and execute their tech strategy while collaborating closely with Global team based in Europe.

Covering six countries across GCC (90+stores / 2000+ employees), you’ll lead a team of 11 talented professionals and ensure technology becomes a true business enabler.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Set the vision : Build and deliver a technology roadmap aligned with global tech strategy and local growth ambitions
• Enable the business : Deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative solutions that elevate both customer experiences and operational efficiency
• Drive transformation : Champion digital innovation, ensuring our client remains ahead of the curve in a fast-paced retail landscape
• Lead & inspire : Build, mentor, and energize a high-performing tech team while fostering strong collaboration with global and regional stakeholders

The profile we are looking for:

• 15+ years of global experience with a significant experience in leadership roles (Head of IT, IT Director, CIO), within Global Retail companies
• Proven track record in managing diverse teams, including direct and indirect reports
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach
• Strong experience in omnichannel systems
• Transformation expertise: solid experience leading IT transformation projects, including ERP, POS systems, Digital Platforms, CRM, Loyalty programs & Cybersecurity
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of navigating in a matrix organization
• Ability to work in fast-paced, transformation-driven environments
• Fluent in English
• Experience in the Middle East is a plus but not mandatory
