Civil Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications, engineering standards, and local regulations in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings based on engineering designs and specifications.
• Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and layout drawings for construction projects.
• Revise drawings and layouts according to feedback from engineers and project managers.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, company standards, and local regulations.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Assist engineers in preparing quantity take-offs and technical documentation when required.
• Review and check drawings for completeness, accuracy, and constructability.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural drawings, detailing, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Experience working on building construction projects is preferred.
