Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in New Cairo. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and supervision of our diverse projects. You will be responsible for applying engineering principles to develop efficient and safe structural designs, preparing detailed drawings and calculations using advanced software, and ensuring that all projects adhere to the highest standards of quality and Egyptian building codes. Key Responsibilities

Design and Engineering:

• Assist in the preparation of structural designs, calculations, and analysis for reinforced concrete and steel structures using software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP, and PROKON.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings and sketches using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Participate in the preparation of tender documents, including Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and technical specifications.
• Review and coordinate architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings to ensure design integrity.

Project Management & Supervision:

• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues on-site and propose effective technical solutions.
• Liaise with contractors, clients, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in preparing regular progress reports for project managers and senior management.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure all designs and site activities comply with Egyptian codes, regulations, and health & safety standards.
• Perform quality checks on materials and workmanship on-site.
• Contribute to the company's commitment to innovation by staying updated on new engineering software, construction methodologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural design and/or site supervision within an engineering consultancy firm.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAFE, SAP, PROKON) is essential.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience with Revit or other BIM software is a significant advantage.
• Solid understanding of Egyptian codes and regulations for building construction.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Arabic.

Pay: E£10,000.00 - E£15,000.00 per month
