CIVIL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision

• Supervise construction activities for roads, stormwater drainage, foul sewer, and TSE networks.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate daily site activities with contractors and subcontractors.

2. Coordination with Ashghal

• Liaise with Ashghal inspectors and consultants for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure all works comply with Ashghal QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications) requirements.
• Attend progress and technical meetings.

3. Quality Control

• Monitor construction quality and ensure materials meet project specifications.
• Review ITPs, MIRs, WIRs, and inspection documents.
• Ensure proper testing and documentation of materials.

4. Technical Review

• Review shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Verify levels, alignment, and layout of infrastructure works.
• Resolve technical issues at the construction site.

5. Progress Monitoring

• Track work progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Support project planning using tools such as Primavera P6.

6. Utility Coordination

• Coordinate with utility authorities for existing services such as:
• Water networks
• Electrical lines
• Telecom cables
• Sewer systems

RequirementsEducation

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience

• 3–10 years experience in infrastructure projects.
• Previous work experience on Ashghal projects preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
• Experience in roads, drainage, sewer, and utilities infrastructure.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office.

Soft Skills

• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural project environment.
• Problem-solving and site management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR8,000.00 per month
