We are expanding our UAE operations and seeking an experienced Civil Engineer – Coating / Protective Coating to support project execution, client management, technical sales, and business development activities.

Position Overview

The Civil Engineer – Coating / Protective Coating will be responsible for managing coating projects, supporting business development activities, coordinating with clients, preparing technical proposals, conducting site inspections, and ensuring project delivery in accordance with client and industry requirements.

Candidates with both technical and commercial experience will be highly preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Execution

• Manage coating and protective coating projects.
• Conduct site inspections and project assessments.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and resources.
• Monitor project progress and quality requirements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.

Client Relationship Management

• Attend client meetings and technical discussions.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project owners.
• Handle client enquiries and project requirements.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with existing clients.
• Support client satisfaction and retention initiatives.

Technical Sales & Business Development

• Identify new project opportunities.
• Participate in technical presentations and project discussions.
• Support sales and proposal activities.
• Prepare technical submissions and quotations.
• Assist in tender participation and bid preparation.
• Generate and follow up on project leads.

Estimation & Proposal Support

• Review project specifications and drawings.
• Support BOQ preparation and quantity calculations.
• Coordinate with procurement and estimation teams.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.

Site Coordination

• Coordinate site activities and subcontractors.
• Monitor project quality and workmanship.
• Ensure project completion within timelines.
• Support testing, inspections, and client approvals.

Mandatory RequirementsExperience

• Minimum 3–8 years of relevant experience in:
• Protective Coating
• Industrial Coating
• Corrosion Protection
• EPC Projects
• Oil & Gas Projects
• Marine or Industrial Projects

Client Handling Experience

Candidates must have experience in:

• Client Meetings
• Project Coordination
• Consultant Coordination
• Contractor Coordination
• Technical Presentations
• Project Follow-Up

Sales Experience (Advantage)

Experience in any of the following will be considered an added advantage:
