Civil Engineer (warehouse & Building construction)(3 years min)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, as well as practical experience in construction and materials handling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement civil engineering projects, including Warehouse, Building,
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project proposals and progress.
• Oversee the construction process, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
• Manage materials handling, including shipping & receiving, load & unload tasks.
• Utilise warehouse management systems for effective inventory control and stocking.
• Perform heavy lifting as required during site inspections or material handling.
• Maintain mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues on-site.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction techniques and civil engineering principles.
• Strong background in materials handling, including picking & packing processes.
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for effective project management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.
