Job Title: Civil Engineer (ADM Licensed)

Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced civil engineer to support ongoing and upcoming projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, proven site and coordination experience, and a solid understanding of local standards and authority requirements. An active ADM license and a minimum of 7 years of experience are mandatory.
Important: Applicants must be currently in the UAE and living in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee civil works from planning through execution, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
- Review drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to civil works.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable Abu Dhabi regulations, codes, and authority requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues quickly.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Support permit and approval processes with relevant authorities, including preparation of required documentation.
- Verify quantities, assist with BOQs, and support tendering and cost control activities as needed.
- Participate in snagging, testing/commissioning support (as applicable), and final handover documentation.
- Maintain proper records (RFIs, MIRs, NCRs, site instructions, as-builts) and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 7 years of civil engineering experience (UAE experience mandatory).
- Valid/active ADM license (Abu Dhabi Municipality mandatory).
- Must be currently in the UAE and residing in Abu Dhabi.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices (infrastructure, roads, utilities, drainage, concrete works, etc., depending on project scope).
- Proficient in engineering software and documentation tools (AutoCAD, MS Office; others are a plus).
- Strong communication skills, report writing, and stakeholder coordination ability.
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple site activities under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and professional site leadership.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working on Abu Dhabi projects involving authority approvals and inspections.
- Familiarity with QA/QC documentation workflows and HSE coordination on site.
- Strong client-facing communication and coordination skills.
