Civil Engineer with Fit Out Experience

Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Fit-Out Civil Engineer to oversee and manage high-quality interior fit-out and civil works projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with site execution, coordination, and delivering fast-track interior and civil projects within timelines and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site fit-out and civil construction activities
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Supervise site execution (partitions, MEP coordination, finishes, joinery, etc.)
• Track project progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and manage site resources
• Identify and resolve any on-site issues or delays in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 2 years of experience in fit-out or civil interior projects (retail, office, hospitality, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of finishing materials, construction techniques, and site supervision
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks on fast-track sites

Preferred:

• Experience working with interior contractors or design-build firms
• Knowledge of local building codes and authority approvals
