Civil Foreman

Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities at the project site, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities including concrete works, block work, plastering, tiling, waterproofing, and finishing works.
• Allocate tasks to masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and laborers as per work priorities.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Monitor manpower productivity and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Ensure proper use of materials and minimize wastage.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards.
• Implement safety procedures and ensure workers comply with site safety regulations.
• Maintain daily progress reports and report issues to the Site Engineer.
• Assist in site measurements, inspections, and snag list clearance.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Technical Certification in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Trade certification is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in building construction projects.
• GCC / Qatar experience preferred.
• Experience in residential, commercial, or high-rise buildings is an advantage.
