Job Description

Island Tower Group of Companies is looking for a Civil Foreman with a strong background in the construction industry to oversee and coordinate site activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in civil works, the ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings, and strong site supervision skills. Experience in district cooling projects and knowledge of mechanical works will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities related to civil works.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Allocate tasks to workers and subcontractors effectively.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Interpret and understand basic civil drawings (structural, layout, section drawings).
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and mechanical teams for smooth execution.
• Ensure materials are properly utilized and report shortages in advance.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Maintain daily progress reports and manpower records.
• Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Civil Foreman in the construction industry.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects preferred.
• District cooling project experience (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical works (pipes, supports, coordination works) is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Immediate joiners preferred

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: AED 3000-4500 (Accommodation and transportation provided)
