Job Title: Civil ForemanJob Summary

The Civil Foreman oversees daily on-site operations for civil construction projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, pipelines, drainage systems, and earthworks. This role ensures that work is performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project plans and company standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction workers and subcontractors
• Assign tasks and ensure proper use of labor, materials, and equipment
• Monitor progress and ensure work meets project timelines

2. Project Execution

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans
• Ensure work complies with engineering designs and specifications
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and contractors
• Oversee excavation, concrete work, formwork, reinforcement, drainage, grading, etc.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety regulations and company safety policies
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Identify and resolve safety hazards on site
• Ensure compliance with local construction codes and regulations

4. Quality Control

• Inspect ongoing work for quality and accuracy
• Ensure materials used meet required standards
• Report defects and implement corrective actions

5. Resource Management

• Monitor material usage and prevent wastage
• Coordinate equipment and machinery requirements
• Maintain daily site reports and progress documentation

6. Communication & Reporting

• Provide daily updates to project manager
• Maintain attendance records for workers
• Report delays, incidents, or issues affecting the project

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred)
• 3–10 years of UAE experience in civil construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Leadership and team management skills
• Good problem-solving ability
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, project management software)

Work Environment

• Primarily outdoor construction sites
• May require long hours and weekend work
• Exposure to varying weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
