Civil Project Engineer

Purpose of the role:

A Dubai based Construction company is looking for a Civil Project Engineer, DM approved Minimum G+4, G+6 or G+12 unlimited, with 5 to 8 years’ experience in a similar role, with expert construction Project Management knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job description:

• Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.
• Prepares project status reports by collecting and analyzing information and trends; recommending actions.
• Developing detailed designs, doing feasibility assessments and site inspections.
• Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Ordering and submitting materials and materials samples.
• Preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
• Preparing and updating works time schedule of workers and managing work to keep it flowing according to the approved schedule.
• Monitoring our subcontractor's works and performing quality control inspections for delivering the executed works to ensure that it is pursuant to the contract specifications and drawings.
• Managing & scheduling of manpower, material, equipment & all activities for actual daily needs on construction sites.
• Contractor’s submittals reviewing, Sub-contractor’s prequalification documents, material submittals, method statements, technical documents, shop drawings, etc...
• Analysis and recommendations of claims for Extension of Time & Variation Order.
• Rich knowledge in finishing standards & quality control.
• BOQ preparation of civil works.
• Monthly payment invoice review

Must have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 to 8 years experience in a similar role
• Basic Civil engineering skills: CAD AutoCAD Design Skills Site Development Database Design Planning Conceptual Skills Problem Solving
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
• Trakhees certificates are an added advantage.
• Dubai Municipality certifications are mandatory for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
