Civil Site Engineer

WE ARE HIRING – SITE CIVIL ENGINEER
Location: Mogadishu, Somalia

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Site Civil Engineer to oversee and manage day-to-day site operations for major construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-rise towers or large-scale infrastructure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all site activities to ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and consultants to maintain workflow.
• Monitor project progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Resolve site issues, manage changes, and report critical matters to the Project Manager.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in high-rise building or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in hotel or commercial building is a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil works, materials, and methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other site management tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
